Train tracks that is! On our way home from our wedding weekend we stopped in a little town to get out and stretch our legs. They happen to have a train museum there and although it was closed Eli still had a blast exploring all the different things!

A fun weekend for all!
On the 22 of November my best friend Brandy got married to an awesome guy, Anthony! Adam and I enjoyed our night away as we took part in all the wedding bliss. Eli had a blast all weekend with his DG and Papa Bob. Unfortunately he had a bit of a fever/croup one night(sorry mom and dad) but they didn't seem to mind bringing him in to bed to snuggle with them!
Every time Adam and I go to a wedding it brings me back to the night that we got married. It is a once in a lifetime moment and besides the birth of your child, the best moment in time! You have no idea when you walk down the isle what all is to come in your new life. But whatever it is, you are ready for the journey to begin!

Anyways, Brandy was a beautiful bride and the ceremony/reception were gorgeous! I wish her and Anthony all the happiness in the world and I look forward to growing old with them by our side! :)

A favorite...
Eli's favorite time of the day...and one of his favorite books!
Tonight is the first night that we put a pillow and sheet in the crib with Eli so we will see how it goes. But, so far, he is sleeping nice and sound! It probably helps that his little belly is soooo full from all the Pad Thai that he ate tonight at Firebowl Cafe...a true favorite of his!

the story of our lives...
No not the story about how adam goes out of town and my life turns to hell. But, the other story. The story of our lives being so jam packed that I have no time to blog let alone do any other 'normal' things like cleaning, cooking, laundry, etc...
The photography business has been on the upswing lately(perfect timing in that my stomach is getting so big I have a hard time getting into all positions) so that has kept me on my toes along with working full time, a toddler, being pregnant, a hubby that travels and getting ready for the holiday season! Shesh, I need a break...soon!
Life has been full but fun. Eli is developing at record pace. His language is awesome, easily putting together two word phrases if not three. He loves giving kisses and hands them out rather generously. He still goes to bed at 6, actually 6:07 tonight, and wakes up at 6. Some call this rather crazy but the schedule actually works perfect for us during the week!
He loves his mama and everyday when we get home, he wants to snuggle with me on the couch wrapped in our family quilt and read books for at least 30 minutes or until his daddy gets home! His is stepping out of his boundaries lately on his eating. Still not living on the edge with it but making small baby steps. He loves sticker time, coloring, saying the ABC's and counting.
Apparently our dogs send out a beacon to other stray dogs in the area about what a good life they have here because dogs are always, literally, showing up at our doorstep. Well, about two weeks ago, one showed up and we had to keep her. That has become Eli's best friend. Her name is Haley and he loves her.
Eli is obsessed with my ever expanding belly and will reach out to 'pat' the baby throughout the day. When we are reading, he makes sure to have one hand on my tummy at all times.
His favorite saying is "no mine." I could live without it but it comes with the age.
We are expecting the arrival of his two year molars and thus would leave his mouth complete for some time. I hope they arrive soon because the drooling has become more like slobber.
He loves his shoes and socks. Never wants to take them off. On the other hand, he loves to run naked. Naked with his shoes and socks on is the best scenario in his eyes.
He loves going to my school. I really try not to bring him because the germs that float around that place, especially my room, are truly disgusting. But, he loves watching the buses pick up all the kids and all the kids love touching him and pinching his cheeks while they wait for their bus to arrive.

Sneak Peak
We have had a busy week around here. Adam has been working more hours than I can stay awake. Eli kind of got sick last week but nothing too bad. I have been getting ready for Halloween, working and cleaning/organizing the house. It has been hectic.
We had a great Halloween and much more to come on that later. I have some awesome pictures but I want to edit them first. I hate editing and never edit for the blog but these are so cute that I have to make them extra special. However, I promised myself that before I edit personal photos I have to finish editing a maternity shoot that I did...
