When we went to the "green"in Bryan we took Eli to meet Margo, the donkey.

I come from an Aggie family and I think it is always fun to let Eli be a part of the traditions/heritage that A&M has. This past weekend we went to Bryan and took Eli to have pictures at the Cavalry barn where his "pa pa bob"(as Eli says) is big boss man. It was really fun to have Eli's picture taken with so many things that mean so much to my family. I have to say, not that he is picking sides or anything, but he had a fantastic time and seemed to fit right in!

Natural Ability??

I will never push sports, music or anything with Eli...whatever he wants to do(within reason) is fine with me. However, I will say that he loves music. Here are pics from his first encounter with an instrument!

8 months!

Hey guys!

Always sucking on my thumb!
Eli just had his 8 months birthday and here are a few of the things that he is up to these days...
Weight: about 22 pounds
Height: probably close to 30 inches
Teeth: 5...the fifth one just broke, honestly I feel like he is always teething
Favorite Things:
*playing in his crib, he will just sit there and talk to you for a good 30 minutes
*playing peek-a-boo with the bumpers
*playing with his Leap Frog table that he kneels at and investigates everything
*crawling...he is really on the move
*he loves to play with little plastic containers and kitchen utensils
Personality:
*he is still very serious
*he loves to sit at the very corner of his crib(when he should be sleeping) and wait to see if you are going to peek through the door to check on him...he thinks this is really fun!
*he is really happy
*still will not let his thumb go...any free time that he has is spent sucking on that thumb
Like I always say, I can't believe it is already 8 months. Time sure flies when you are having fun!

Crib fun!

Eli has discovered that his crib can be so much fun! He likes to pull the bumpers up and down so that he can see out in different views. He likes to pull himself up to a kneel and talk to you!

Whoa, hard work! I need a break!

He has not yet made it standing by himself but he is so proud of himself when he pulls himself up to a kneeling position and is able to look at his toys all by himself.
